Karen Sue (Brewer) Pryer, 52, Topeka, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2005 at a local hospice house.
Karen was born January 21, 1953 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Henry C. and Barbara J. Cornelius Bitner.
She was employed by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 33 years.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Pryer of the home, a daughter, Valerie Brewer, Lenexa; a sister, Kathy Havens; a brother, Johnny Bitner, and her mother, Barbara Bitner, all of Tulsa, OK.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at First Southern Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
