Karin C. Knight

Karin C. Knight, 58, of Topeka, passed away June 3, 2012. She was born in Topeka on January 2, 1954 to Donald E. and Velma F. (Vawter) Carlton. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. She married Jimmy B. Knight on Jan. 11, 1972. They later divorced. Karin received her Associates Degree in nursing from Tulsa Junior College in Tulsa, OK in 1984. She held positions at Stormont-Vail, Hillcrest Medical Center, and Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her mother, Velma F. Werth, 3 daughters, 2 sisters, 9 grandchildren and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald E. Carlton, her step-father, B. James Werth, one brother and one sister.
A memorial service will be held on June 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66606. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service.
