Karla Kay Ginter, 76, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019.
She was born May 16, 1942, in Needles, California, the daughter of Richard Carl and Ariel L. (Bauer) Ginter. She was a 1960 graduate of Dover High School, Dover, Kansas and Clarks Business School in Topeka.
Karla was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone, later becoming AT&T for 20 years before retiring.
She was a member of the Grace Cathedral Church where she sang in the choir, Dover Federated Church, American Kennel Club of Topeka, German Club of Topeka.
Survivors include a sister, Cherie (Tom Myers) Moran, Gordonsville, VA; a niece, Laura Moran, Topeka; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard W. Ginter; and a niece, Sandra Pletcher.
Karla loved photography, her canine companions and attending Air Shows.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Dover Federated Church, 13442 SW 57th St., Dover, KS 66420. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Kennel Club.
