Kathlien Sue (Johnson) Starks, 57, Topeka, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at a local hospital.
Kathlien was born June 8, 1960 in Topeka, the daughter of Gary H. and Bonnie L. (McMaster) Johnson. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1978.
She had previously worked at Josten's Yearbook, several nursing homes, Dr. Brady and recently at Reeser's Food.
She married Richard Starks and they later divorced. Survivors include children, Timothy Evertson, James Starks and Kayla Williams-Thomas; 6 grandchildren; and sisters, Terri Johnson, Tammi Johnson-Arellano. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alan Johnson.
Per Kathlien's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
