Kathryn Ann (Irwin) Davidson, 96, passed away Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 in Topeka, KS. She was born December 13th, 1921 to Boyd & Margaret (Frehe) Irwin on the family farm in Richardson County Nebraska.
She married Riley (Jack) Davidson April 20th, 1941 and they farmed and raised their family in Centralia, KS. Jack passed away July 21st, 1989. Kathryn enjoyed working at the Nemaha County Journal Leader for many years. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Centralia, VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Kathryn is survived by her children: Riley of Topeka, KS, daughter Sue Howard of Topeka, KS; Rick (Kathy) Davidson of Tulsa, OK; one sister Dorothy Reinhart of San Diego, CA; granddaughters: Carrie (Travis) Lambert of Gardner, KS; Dawn (Garrett) Huggins of Topeka, KS; great grandchildren: Gunnar, Gavin and Hannah, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Norma, Ed, Keith and son-in-law Bob. Kathryn will be laid to rest in the Centralia Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
