Kathryn Kay "Kathy" Ortiz, 65, of Carbondale, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021.
She was born July 29, 1955, in Ainsworth, Nebraska, the daughter of Maynard and Shirley (Gossard) Dillon.
Kathryn married Patrick Singer in October of 1971; they later divorced. She later married Doug Ortiz. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Shawn Singer (Ashley) of Keenesburg, CO; grandchildren Hailey and Peyton Singer; sister Carolyn Kemble (Bryan) of Carbondale, KS; and longtime friend Loren Lett. She was preceded in death by an infant son, William Glen Singer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 17th at 10:00 AM at Carbondale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
