Kathryn E Wietharn, 84, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

She was born December 10, 1940, in Caney, Kansas, the daughter of Bill and Harriett (Miller) Noah. 

Kathryn was employed with Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging, USD 501 and others, helping people by encouraging them to be successful and try new things.

Kathryn married Gerald Wietharn on August 7, 1970 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2022. She is also preceded in death by her parents and sister.

Survivors include daughters, Audra Wietharn (Joe), Lori Wissman (Patrick); 3 grandchildren, Hailey, Alyssa and Jaykob; 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.

Kathryn enjoyed cooking and baking especially pies, sewing, playing cards and bingo. Kathryn loved traveling and dancing as well.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Dove Cremations & Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
