Kathy R. Johnson, 72, Topeka, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Kathy was born November 26, 1945 in Marshalltown, IA., the daughter of Duane M. and Mabel D. (Vogeler) Paul. She graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO.
She was employed as an I.T. Consultant with the State of Kansas,
Department of Health & Environment, and previously worked at E.D.S.
Kathy was married to Eldon Johnson from 1968 to 1989. Survivors include sons, Jay (Annette) Johnson, Scott Johnson, all of Topeka; grandchildren, Madison, Cheyenne and Lake Johnson; brothers, Kelly, Mike, Jeff, Mark; and sisters, Jackie, Patty and Carol. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sharon.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society.
