Kayla A. Walters, 34, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born November 30, 1989, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of William and Lori (Lambert) Walters.
Kayla attended Seckman High School in Imperial, Missouri. She was employed by Dillon’s Grocery Store in Manhattan, Kansas.
Survivors include two children, Izaak, Iliana, her parents, William "Bill" and Lori Walters of Topeka, her maternal grandmother, Nancy Thompson of Gulfport, Mississippi, her four siblings, Ryan, Lexi, Jacob and Nicholas, one niece, Naomi, paternal aunt, Amy (Michael) Goodberlet, maternal aunts, Julie and Kim, maternal uncles, Travis and Eric.
Kayla was preceded in death by her nephew, Ezra Cole Boyd, maternal uncle, Joseph Clint Lambert, paternal grandparents William and Virginia Walters of Fenton, Missouri, maternal grandfather, Travis Lambert of Clovis, New Mexico.
A private Celebration of Kayla's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
