Keith M. Vig

Keith M. Vig, 88, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born August 6, 1936 in Hayden Lake, Idaho, the son of Chester R. and Claire L. (Bowlby) Vig.

Keith attended public schools in Idaho. He was an Air Force Veteran.  He was employed as a Ranch Hand in South Dakota. 

Keith married Judith K. Smith in 1956. They later divorced. 

Survivors include children, Susan Hotchkiss of Lebo, Kansas, Twyla S. Elbe of Wisconsin, Byron Evans of Arizona, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Walter Vig and Wanda Vig.

Keith was preceded in death by one son, Edward K. Vig and his granddaughter, Jessica Sapata.

A private Celebration of Keith's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
