Kelli A. Gullick, 43, of Topeka, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, September 10, 2010. She was born on November 17, 1966 in Independence, KS, the daughter of Clarence and Gloria D. Gullick.
She graduated from Independence High School in May of 1985 and received an Associate Degree in Business from Independence Community College. Kelli has resided in Topeka since 1992. She was a member of Pleas Temple Church of God in Christ in Independence where she served as church secretary and Sunday school teacher and was also an active member of Calvary Church of God in Christ in Topeka. She was employed by the Topeka Housing Authority for ten years and was presently employed by Southwest Caging.
Survivors include her son, Josiah Barker, her long time companion, Eugene Barker and her siblings; Cynthia Johnson, Kevin Gullick and Kerry Gullick. Kelli was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Anderson.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pleas Temple Church of God in Christ, 600 N. 19th St. in Independence. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence. Kelli will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
