Kenneth Cann

Kenneth "Kenny" Cann, 61, of Topeka, Kansas passed away November 14, 2016. He was born September 4, 1955 at New York, NY. He was raised in New York, moved to South Carolina and graduated from Denmark-OIA High School in 1974. He served his county in the US Army and was honorably discharged from Ft. Riley in 1979. He married Aliecia Serrano at Wichita, Kansas.

Kenny enjoyed his work as a chef. He worked at Washburn University Chartwell's for 8 years and spent the past 15 years at the Capital Plaza Hotel. He was a member of Harvest Church of Topeka, Kansas and loved watching New York sports, especially the Giants.

Kenny is survived by two children: Shaun Serrano and SieAnna Guzman; and two grandchildren: Anaelise Lopez and Angelica Guzman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Louise Cann.

The funeral service will be held November 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Church, 3200 SE Indiana. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
