Kenneth R. Cochran, 86, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017.
He was born January 6, 1931, in Coffey County, Kansas, the son of James and Lora (Cope) Cochran, and a graduate of Burlington High School.
Kenneth was a dedicated farmer and later worked in the manufacturing industry. He was an active member of Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church in Tecumseh, for the past five decades.
On July 26, 1953 in Washington, Kansas, he married Vicky Mills. She is 83 and survives happily in the community.
Other survivors include children, Kendy Flott and husband, Roger, Kerra Ketter and husband, Kevin and Eric Cochran; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving older sister, Norma; and a great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017, at Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church, 6020 SE 44th, Tecumseh, Kansas 66542.
The family will receive guests immediately following the celebration.
