Kevin Dean Heusted, 56, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012. He was born June 22, 1955 in Topeka, the son of Harry and Rosemary Horton Heusted.
Kevin graduated from Highland Park High School in 1973. He was a carpenter and estimator by trade.
Kevin married Terrie L. Deal on June 19, 2010 in Emporia. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Amanda (Mark) Foltz and one son, Branden Heusted, both of Garnett, four grandchildren, Kirsten, Lane, Evie and Isabella, one sister, Aletha (Jim) Wilson and his sister-in-law, Carol Heusted, both of Topeka and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Harry and two grandchildren, Wesley and Michael.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at his cousins, Paul and Debi Challender's residence at 2313 Rd. M., Emporia, KS 66801. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cat Association of Topeka, 1719 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, Kansas 66604. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
