Kristina J. Barfoot

Kristina J. Barfoot, 75, of Burlingame, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born February 12, 1949 in Temple City, California, the daughter of George and June Schlee.

Kristina graduated from La Puente High School in La Puente, California. She had resided in Topeka for 17 years before moving to Burlingame to be closer to her family. She owned and operated AA Driving & Traffic Schools. 

Kristina married Paul W. Barfoot. They were married for 50 years before he preceded her in death in 2020. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Corey S. Barfoot and Chase A. Barfoot.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Barfoot of Topeka, Jason (LuAnn) Barfoot of Burlingame, Kansas, eleven grandchildren, Courtney (Jimal) Ervin, Chad (Ashley) Barfoot, Cody (Alaura) Barfoot, Cayden Barfoot, Ashley McDonald, Jason Russinko, Alexanderia Barfoot, Stephen Barfoot, Mariah Barfoot, Jessica Barfoot, Desiree (Shane) Klein, eighteen great-grandchildren, Charlii Barfoot, Mackenzie Barfoot, Zaylin Patterson, Azalea Patterson, Jayluh Ervin, Ellie Barfoot, Jimal Ervin, Jr., Ja’Kobe Ervin, Maryah Bundy, Raymun Barfoot, Sapphire Barfoot, Scarlett Barfoot, Noah Barfoot, Juliana Russinko, Isabella Russinko, Mason Klein, Asher Klein and Wyatt Klein.

A Celebration of Kristina's Life will be held at Noon Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Federated Church, 322 S Topeka Ave., Burlingame, Kansas 66413. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
