Lacreta A. Reagan, 86, of Topeka, formerly of Berryton, Kansas, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.
She was born November 22, 1938, in Osage City, Kansas, the daughter of Clay and Joybelle (Stover) Blankenship. She was a 1956 graduate of Osage City High School and attended Clarks Business School in Topeka.
Lacreta was employed as a legal secretary at a Topeka law firm and later for the US Postal Service until retiring in 1998.
Lacreta married Carol David “C.D.” Reagan on December 5, 1964, in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2017. Survivors include three step-daughters, Terri Garrett, Sherri Parrish (Craig) and Lanita Lee; a step-son, Gene Wingo (Andrea); several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Brian Reagan and two sisters-in-law, Frieda Smith and Colleen Peavler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James “Michael” Reagan on January 17, 1986.
Lacreta enjoyed feeding birds and living in the country.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, where a funeral ceremony will follow at 11 a.m. Private interment will follow at the American Cemetery, near Osage City, Kansas.
