LaDean E. Gritten, 98, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was born September 25, 1916 in Republic, Kansas, the daughter of Dewi A. and Lois Holliday Davies.
LaDean lived most of her life in Topeka. She was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, JoBeth Zeeb and Carol Jackson, both of Topeka, one step-son, Bob Gritten of Topeka, six grandchildren, Debra Nisbeth, Mark Chapman, Sherry Chapman, Jerry Dean Chapman, Lonnie Jackson and Ben Jackson and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Northside Church of Christ, 555 NW 46th St., Topeka, KS 66617. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
