Larry D. Wright, 74, of Topeka passed away on October 17, 2017 at his home. Born October 15, 1943, in Topeka, he was the son of Gilbert and Orinda Wright.
Larry married Carol Hogan on December 1, 1967.
He enjoyed cruising and bowling, but most of all spending time with his family. He was an avid volunteer at TPAC.
Larry was preceded in death by his infant daughter.
He is survived by his wife, two children; Kimberly A. Wright of Texas and Kelly D. (Jeramy) Wright of Nevada, one granddaughter, Lorraine Jeann Wright, and one brother, Ronald Wright.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka. The family will greet friends for two hours prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Mid-America Chapter, 6950 Squibb Rd., Ste. 210 Mission, KS 66202.
