LaSandra Lea Brown (Wells), 54, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home.
She was born January 19, 1958 in Topeka, the daughter of Lillian and Tommie Wells (Fannin). She graduated from Highland Park High School. LaSandra married Michael Brown in January, 1985. They later divorced.
Survivors include three children, Darrick Wells, LaShonda Brown and Tierra Brown, all of Topeka, eight grandchildren, Kristen, Kyle, Jerrica, Braydan, Jaydan, Taryn, LeAsia and Carter, her mother, Tommie Wells of Topeka, and her siblings, Deborah Horwitz of Pittsburgh, PA, Dana Wells, Gary Wells, Paula Smith and Verronda Wells, all of Topeka and a host of friends and family. LaSandra was preceded in death by her father, Lillian Wells, brother, Michael Wells and her sister, Lillian Chamberlain.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private burial will take place in Topeka Cemetery. LaSandra will lie in state and the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
