Laura "Maxine" Baker, 92, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017.
She was born November 17, 1924, in Arkansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Oliver and Emma (McNece) Watson.
Maxine married Robert W. Baker in Arkansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2011.
Survivors include children, Bob (Vivian) Baker, Jr., Jim (Betty) Baker, Tom (Anna) Baker, Laura Sue (Lee) Jones, and Elizabeth (Tom) Gregg; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her infant son, John David Baker; brother, Robert Watson; and sister, Virginia Lee Briscoe.
Maxine was cremated and private burial of the cremated remains will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas.
