Laurence C. Cole

Laurence C. "Larry" Cole, 46, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on October 28, 1962 in Topeka, the son of the late Charles E. and Georgia Benton Cole. Larry graduated from Seaman High School. He was employed by HyVee. He was a member of the American Pool Association for over 30 years. Survivors include three sons, Chuck Cole, Mark (Rachel) Cole both of Topeka and Brock Cole, three grandchildren, Cory, Zackary and Georgia, his aunt, Pudgie Robb, two nieces, Jennifer, Stephanie, three nephews, Bryan, Kenny, Jonathan and his closest companion, Barbara Boushie. Larry was preceded in death by three brothers, Stephen, Tony and Jim. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Larry will lie in state from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
