LaVelle D. Roehrman, 87, of Tecumseh, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. He was born June 28, 1934 in Herington, Kansas, the son of Elmer and Elizabeth (Reiman) Roehrman.
LaVelle graduated from Herington High School. He had resided in Tecumseh since 1961. LaVelle was employed by Dupont for 28 years before retiring.
LaVelle married Patricia Chism on November 6, 1954 in Council Grove, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include children, Jaclyn Beier of Topeka, Cleo (Barbara) Roehrman of Topeka, Jayne (Danny) Desch of Tecumseh, five grandchildren, Amanda, Christy, Chris, Zach and Hannah, four great-grandchildren, Braison, Olivia, Ivin with Reese on the way.
LaVelle was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Roehrman.
A Celebration of LaVelle's Life will be announced at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Zion Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 3625 SW 29th St., Suite 102, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
