Lawrence Henry Johnson

Lawrence "Larry" Henry Johnson, 91, of Topeka, passed away on August 18, 2022 at the Rossville Health Care & Rehabilitation.
He was born on March 12, 1931 to Roscoe Wallace and Lena S. Ford in Hanover, PA. He was raised by his mother, Henrietta Johnson.
Larry worked as a Carpenter for Local Union 1445 and for the last 25 years he was self-employed as a home remodeler in Topeka.
On August 16, 1980, he married Lynda Johnson (Gatewood). Together they had two children.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; children, Lael Paul Johnson, LaDan Wallace Johnson, Henrietta Glover, Lawrence Henry Johnson, Jr., Laura Lovell-Scercy, and Lynda Johnson; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and sent in care of Dove Southeast Funeral Chapel.
The family of Larry would like to thank everyone for their support and acts of kindness during their time of grief.
