Learta Boettcher
January 30, 1918 — March 12, 2013
LeArta Boettcher, 95 passed away at home in Tucson, Arizona with her family at her side.
She grew up in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School. LeArta married Clifford Boettcher in 1938 and was a homemaker to her husband and their two children. She moved from Topeka to Pomona, California in 1978 to be near her daughter and then moved to Tucson, Arizona with her daughter in 1994. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
LeArta is survived by her son, Barry Boettcher of Dayton, Ohio and daughter, Marie Adams of Tucson, Arizona, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
