Lee Roy Howard, Jr.
Lee Roy Howard, Jr., 47, Topeka, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.
He was born Sept. 19, 1958 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Lee Roy and Emma Powers Howard, and had lived in Topeka for 30 years.
Mr. Howard worked for a while for Cloverleaf Office Park in Kansas City, and for Jetz and later for Becker Small Engines in Topeka.
He married Mary E. Chappell on May 10, 1985 in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Joey Howard and Steven Howard, both in Topeka; two sisters, Sandra Howard, Topeka and Rebecca Howard in New Hampshire; a brother, Richard Howard, Des Moines, IA.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, and sent in care of Kaw Valley State Bank, 1110 N. Kansas Ave, 66608.
