Leeann J. Armstrong
Leeann J. Armstrong, 27, passed away May 23, 2010, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Scottsdale, AZ. Leeann was born on November 30, 1982, in Topeka, the daughter of Elvin D. and Kyu Hyang Armstrong.
Leeann graduated from Topeka West High School in 2001 and Kansas State University in 2006.
Leeann was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Duk Ho Lee and Young Ran Lee; and paternal grandparents, Elvin N. and Beulah B. Armstrong.
In addition to her parents, Leeann is survived by her biological sister, Zoe Ahn; brother, Udo Lee; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Miss Armstrong will lie in state after 5 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
