Leora May Taylor, 72 , of Topeka, passed away Thursday February 3,2022.
She was born January 22, 1950, in Phoenix, Arizona, the daughter of Clarence and Betty Durham. she received an Associate's Degree in nursing from St. Cloud University and worked as a licensed practical nurse, served in the armed forces, and provided a love for many during her years as a foster parent.
Leora is survived by her sons, John M. Taylor and Mark W. Taylor and grandchildren, Zarriah Taylor and Xavier Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Leora enjoyed helping people the most and sharing her love with the world. She impacted all the lives that she touched in a positive way and the love that she shared with the world will carry on with those she left behind.
Leora was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held February 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. as well as live streamed for family that is distant.
