Mrs. Thomas graduated from Newkirk High School in Oklahoma. She has resided in Topeka since 1945.
During World War II she was an office clerk for Mare Island Navel Yard in Vallejo, California. She obtained that job for 3 years before
moving to Topeka. She worked for Forbes Air Force Base Exchange for almost 20 years and retired in 1973.
She was a member of Berryton United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Berryton Golden Times.

8. Relatives: Married to: Carl J. Rettig on June 22, 1944 in Vallejo, California. He died March 26, 1976.
Aubrey D. Thomas on March 13, 1979 in Berryton. He survives.
