Lesli Jayne Gonsalez

Lesli Jayne Gonsalez was born April 9, 1958 at Shilling AFB, Kansas to Mary Lou (Fox) Warren and Ralph Floyd Warren. Lesli went to her heavenly reward at her home on July 15, surrounded by her family after a brave battle with cancer. She graduated from Great Bend High School in 1976. She graduated from Bryan College, Topeka. She worked in the health care field in several capacities. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Seekers Sunday School Class in Topeka.

She married Albert Gonsalez on October 17, 1986. She is survived by her husband of the home, her mother, Great Bend; daughters, Nicole Carver, Topeka, Natalie Caro, Wichita, and Nachele Gonsalez, Iola; beloved grandchildren, Julius, MacKenzie, Laila Carver and Zoii Frey; sister, Lauri J. Skinner, Midland, TX; and brother Lejay T. Warren, Mineola; three aunts; an uncle; many nieces and nephews and many members of her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, an infant brother, and grandparents, Lawrence and Ramona Fox and Lucille Roberts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Lesli will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, after 3:00 p.m. Friday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
