Letha A. Rodgers, 93, Topeka, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019.
Letha was born September 23, 1925 in Postoak, MO, the daughter of Forrest and Iscle (Younkin) Pyle.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Topeka.
Letha married Boyd A. Tjardes on December 25, 1943. He died January 9, 1960. She married Raymond T. Rodgers on August 7, 1968. He died January 26, 1990. Survivors include daughters, Judy Tjardes, Ft. Worth, TX, Sharyn (A.J.) Hulter, Topeka: son, James Leroy (Kathryn) Tjardes, Holden, MO; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Garden City, Missouri.
