Lillian B. Roy, 92, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Legend At Capital Ridge in Topeka. She was born November 28, 1923 in Leavenworth, Kansas, the daughter of John and Edith (Wagner) Dubach.
Lillian taught Sunday School at Ft. Leavenworth for four years. She was a Grey Lady at Ft. Bragg Hospital in North Carolina for three years.
Lillian moved to Topeka in 1972. She was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church since June 23, 1985 where she helped fold the Spire News Letter for two years. She was also a life-time member of the Air Force Sergeant Auxiliary Chapter No. 974.
Lillian married Raymond W. Roy on October 2, 1948 in Leavenworth, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1992. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John Bly on February 14, 1998 and Harry R. Bly on August 10, 2002 and her sister, Dorothy Cornlison.
Survivors include eleven grandchildren, twenty-four and a half great-grandchildren, one brother, John Dubach of Pleasant Hill, Missouri and two daughter-in-laws, Sharon Bly of Lenox, Michigan and Sally Bly of Allenton, Michigan.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 in Mount Hope Cemetery.
