Lillian Ireneharris Livingstone

Lillian Irene Harris Livingstone, 94, of Topeka, went to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ, as the sun was rising on Easter Morning, April 20, 2014 at Midland Hospice House.
She was born September 3, 1919, in Waverly Hall, Georgia, the daughter of Walker and Gertha (Epps) Harris. She was a 1936 graduate of Waverly Hall High School and a 1942 graduate of Columbus City Hospital School of Nursing in Georgia, achieving the degree of Registered Nurse.
Mrs. Livingstone was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Topeka, the Topeka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Henry Woodhouse Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, Magna Carta Dames and Barons, Descendants of the Knights of the Garter, Jamestowne Society, Dames of the Court of Honor, First Families of Georgia, Manakin Huguenots Society, Meriwether Society, Nicolas Martiau Society, Society of the Descendants of Francis Epes I of Virginia.
Lillian married Earl Leslie Livingstone on December 12, 1942 in Washington, D.C. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Janis Ann Cleland and her husband, Paul; a son, Bruce Harris Livingstone, all of Topeka; two grandchildren, Elisabeth Berchi Cleland, Erie, CO and Timothy Paul Cleland and his wife, Elizabeth, Glenmont, NY; and a sister, Martha Louise Harris Ingram, Jonesboro, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Charlie Margaret Harris Anderson, Annie Nell Harris Grant Russell, Mary Isabelle Harris Moon; and a brother, Albert Richardson Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville, GA. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4746 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604 or to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
