Linda Jean Lee
Linda Jean Lee, 57, of Carbondale, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was born on March 13, 1953 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Carl and Catherine Oswald.
She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Linda's passion was landscaping, competing at the Kansas State Fair in seasonal floral arrangements and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her four children, Angel Bolan, Brandi (Dustin) Thulin, Crystal Lee and Jesse James Lee, her only grandson; Logan Cox, her sister; Chris (Mike) Bridgeford, her life-long best friend; Carla Nelson and best friend; Donna Creager.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery. Linda will lie in state after Noon Friday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
