Linda Joyce Bell, 57, of Topeka, passed away February 11, 2009.
Linda was born June 22, 1951 in Clarksville, TX to Hobbie Dean Bell and Louella Miller. Having moved from Ponca City, OK, she has been a resident of Topeka for 33 years. Linda was a dedicated member of Light of the World Christian Center. She was a cosmetologist for 12 years and was employed by St. Francis Family Medicine for over 10 years. Linda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Aretha (Terry) Brannon of Smyrna, GA and Rachel Thompson, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, twelve siblings, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 11:00 am, at Light of the World Christian Center, 3301 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka. Rev. Frances Newell will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle 66606. Dove Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
