Linda Lowrey

Linda Sue Lowrey, 57, of Topeka, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 31, 2005,
at St. Francis Hospital.

Linda was born Sept. 8, 1947, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of John and
Dorothy Christman.

She was a graduate of Highland Park High School and a proud member of the
Bonnie Lassie drill team. Most recently she was employed with Combined
Insurance in Topeka. Linda held the title of licensed administrator. There
she touched many lives at work, not only her students but everyone who came
into the office.

January 29, 1965, Linda married her husband, Larry R. Lowrey Sr., of Topeka.
Love and devotion provided Linda and Larry with 40 years of wonderful
marriage.

Linda was a very caring and loving individual. She touched the lives of many
individuals. She learned about love and family from her mother, Dorothy, and
she carried on those values with all that she touched. Her family was her
life. She cared dearly for everyone in her family with all of her heart,
especially her children and grandchildren. Her legacy will be forever
remembered and carried out by those who knew her well.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Christman.

Surviors are her husband, Larry R. Lowrey Sr.; sons, Garret Bervert, John
Lowrey and Larry Lowrey Jr.; daughter Annette McMullen; sisters Carol Martin
and her spouse Jim Martin, Joanne Coffman; 10 grandchildren, Christopher
Bervert, Kayla Lowrey, Travis Bervert, Kendra Lowrey, Payton Lowrey, Kylie
and Kendal Lowrey, Greg McNary, Adam McNary and Erin McNary; and 2 great
grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the
Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 SW 10th in Topeka, Kansas. Casual attire is
requested for the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500
Adam's Way, Randleman, NC, 27317 or the Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 SW
10th, Topeka, Kansas, 66604.
