Linda M. Weathers

Linda M. Weathers, 68, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009. She was born on March 1, 1941 in Topeka, the daughter of Earl E. and Bessie White Smith. She was employed by Jostens Yearbook Company for many years before retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Order Of Eastern Star. Survivors include her siblings, Ruby M. Glotzbach of Topeka, Carol M. Igleheart of Atchison, Gerald E. Smith of Parsons, Veronica L. Groves of Topeka and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert R. Smith, William E. Smith and one sister, Dorothy G. Reaser. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Scranton Cemetery. Linda will lie in state from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. The casket will remain closed.
