Linda C. Legister Malloy 1935-2004
Linda C. Leg1ster Malloy a Retired Bi-lingual Elementary School Teacher of Brea, and La
Habra Orange County United School District. A long time resident of Orange County
California, entered into Eternal Rest Sunday May 30, 2004 at Midland Hospice Care Center in Topeka Kansas.
The daughter of the late Ella May McLaren and Samuel Legister, she was born on February 10, 1935. ln the City. of Colo'n Republic of Panama.
Linda was a 1956 Graduate of the Rainbow City High School in the Canal Zone. Attended Boston University, and received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from California State University of Fullerton and a Masters Degree in Psychology from the University of San Diego.
Linda was actively involved Politics. She was a Registered Democrat, a Member of the Jessie Jackson Rainbow Coalition Campaign, held Public Office in the City at Orange County, and in additional politics in her community. She was also the President of the Orange County Teachers Association, A Delta Sorer of the Orange County Chapter, and established her Financial Services Company.
Linda was an avid Traveler, and in her lifetime resided in Jamaica, West Indies, Boston, Massachusetts, Panama', California. Her memorable Wedding to Mr. Stanley Jerome Malloy took place at their home in Hyannis Port, Cape Cod Massachusetts.
Linda was a devoted Mother to her son Stanley J. Malloy Jr. of Anaheim California and her daughter Jolene A. Malloy Savage of Topeka Kansas. She will be remembered as a fun loving mother, Grandmother, Sister. Aunt, cousin, friend, Teacher, Neighbor, and Mother Figure to many students and Less Fortunate Young Immigrant families.
Survivors include her son Stanley, her daughter Jolene and Husband Scott, her beloved grandchildren Jordan, Landon, Moore'a and her Three Angels in Heaven, Scott Allen Savage, Annette Clair Savage, and her most recent born Sophia Ettienne' Savage: Her Sister, June and husband Ronald Malcolm of Palm Bay, Florida; Sister Marva Allen of Newburgh, New York; Marty nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends, and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents of Colo'n Republic of Panama', her brother Harry Legister of Kingston Jamaica and her sisters Lavinia (chi-chi) Flemming and Lawilce (Lola) Scott of Boston, Massachusetts.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday June 11, at t 11:OO A.M. at Christ The King Catholic Church in Topeka. Kansas.
In Lieu of Flowers, Contributions, in her name, may be made to Christ The King Catholic Elementary School in Topeka Kansas to Honor the Teachers where Linda's Grandchildren are enrolled.
