Linda S. Seever

Linda S. Seever, 57, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at a Kansas City, MO hospital. She was born on August 12, 1949 in Atchison, the daughter of Alfred and Mary Pickman Scherer. She was a Registered Nurse from 1971-1983. She moved to Topeka in 1985. Linda married Glenn E. Seever on July 2, 1971 in Atchison. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Amy Seever, two sons, Neil Seever and Ryan Seever all of Topeka, one grandson, Zachary, her mother and step-father, Mary and Norman Darrenkamp of Atchison, two brothers, Tom Scherer of Kansas City, KS, Robert Darrenkamp of Atchison and two sisters, Connie Freund of Prairie Village and Cathy Miles of Plattsburg, MO. She was preceded in death by one brother, Denny Scherer. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Burial will follow. Linda will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
