Linda Sue (Johnson) Foster, 68, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
She was born October 18, 1947 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Ervin M. and Grace I. (Swank) Johnson.
Linda was employed by Burrell's Luce Press Clippings as a supervisor for 47 years, retiring this year.
She married Gerald W. Foster on April 11, 1970 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Marsha Hicks ofTopeka; grandchildren, Cody (Tanya) Hicks, Alicia, Brooke and Brianna Hicks, all of Topeka; her brother, Ervin Johnson of Topeka; and her sister, Carole (Paul) Zirkle of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, George Hicks.
Linda was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.
Honoring her request, Linda was cremated. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
