Linda V. Martindale, 76, of Paxico, KS, left this earth to go fishing in Heaven with her husband, Donald. She passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her home with her family. Linda was born January 5, 1938, in Carthage, MO, the daughter of Curtis and Chloe Gilbreath.
Linda was a graduate of Pittsburgh State University with degrees in Industrial Art and Classical Piano.
Linda married Donald Martindale in 1957. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2012. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Martindale-Otte; sons, David (Barbara) Martindale, Dean (Tammy) Martindale; grandsons, John Martindale and Dustin Hamilton; and great-granddaughter, Aleena Jade Martindale.
Linda enjoyed fishing, painting, and gardening, and she was a very generous lady who donated to numerous charities.
At Linda's request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
