Livia Julia (Pausz) Perlaky, 97, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017.
She was born March 21, 1920, in Budapest, Hungary, the daughter of John and Julia (Wradislawsky) Pausz.
In February of 1945, in Budapest, Livia married Charles I. Perlaky. He preceded her in death.
Livia and her family immigrated to the United States in 1957 under the sponsorship of Trinity Lutheran Church of Topeka. She was a hairdresser in Budapest and Topeka.
She is survived by a daughter, Livia E. Perlaky, of Topeka.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Stephanie, Helen, John, Bela, Wilma, and Theresa.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
