Liz Marie "Jamie" Ireland, 51, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021.
She was born August 20, 1969, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond and Judy (Gunckle) Ireland.
Jamie was previously employed by the First Christian Childcare Center.
Survivors include her mother, Judy Johnson of Topeka; siblings Colleen Haddon (Russell) of North Jackson, OH and Darlene Morgan (John), Raymond Ireland Jr. and James D. Essary (Megan), all of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Eugene Ireland, Sr.
Jamie loved going to the beach, attending concerts (including REO Speedwagon and Styx), watching Supernatural, scrapbooking, planting flowers, going to the zoo, spending time and traveling with friends and family and teaching her students.
Per her wishes, Jamie was cremated. There will be a luau with her friends and family on Saturday, August 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 5118 SW 33rd Terrace Topeka, KS 66614.
