Lois Crockett
Lois Gertrude Crockett, 89, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at a local care center.
Lois was born September 4, 1915 in Richland, the daughter of Francis A. and Mary E. Pugh Benander.
She married Stephen L. Crockett on November 2, 1932. He died September 27, 2002. Survivors include sons; Donald Crockett, Norton; Steve Crockett, Topeka; daughter, Bobbie Field, Caroline Snyder and Elizabeth Crockett all of Topeka; 24 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David Crockett and daughter, Mary German.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Mrs. Crockett will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
