Lois Mcgrew
Lois E. McGrew, 87, of Topeka, passed away, Friday, January 14, 2005 at Rolling Hills Health Center.
She was born December 28, 1917 in Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Mabel Priest Taylor.
She married Derrel McGrew April 13, 1941. He preceded her in death January 17, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her sister Janet Stuehm. Survivors include her children Phillip T. McGrew and his wife Betty and Dolores Larison both of Topeka; her sister, Geraldine Rutledge, Park Forest, IL; her grandchildren Andrea Gibson, Tammy McGrew, Greg McGrew, and Kevin McGrew and her great grandson, Collin Gibson.
Graveside services will be held 11:00am Monday, January 17, 2005 at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Heart Of America Hospice, 3715 SW 29th Street, Topeka, KS 66614. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
