Lola Irene Davis, 86, Topeka, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at Topeka Presbyterian Manor.
She was born Feb. 13, 1921 in Goff, KS, the daughter of Grover C. and Estella M. Barnes Titman. She spent most of her life in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School in 1939.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, had been a Girl Scout leader, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She married Raymond Elwood Davis on Nov. 4, 1939 in Alma. He died Nov. 10, 1993.
Survivors include a son, Gary Davis of Topeka; two daughters, Suzanne King of Topeka and Michele Bartlett of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Elizabeth King, Loren King, Dean King, Elizabeth Bartlett, and Margaret Bartlett; and one great-grandson, Eliott King.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1275 SW Boswell, 66604.
