Lola Mae Miller, 84, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at McCrite Plaza. She was born January 21, 1937 in Reading, Kansas, the daughter of Edward and Frances (Hoyt) Shirley.
Lola married Leo E. Miller on June 3, 1963 in Dodge City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2008.
Survivors include children, Shirley (Joe) Bacon, Rebecca Sorrells, 3 grandchildren, Christina (Ty) Forshee, Ashley (Casey) Hladky, Ben Bacon, 5 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Lily, Emily, Madison and Finnley and 1 sister.
Lola was preceded in death by one son, Benny Nicholas in November 1985.
As per Lola's wishes, private entombment will take place in the Resurrection Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka Kansas 66606 or to the Good Samaritan Fund at McCrite Plaza, 1610 S.W. 37th St., Topeka, Kansas 66611.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
