Louis David Perez Cantrell, 39, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
He was born May 2, 1983, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Louis Perez and Regina Cantrell. He attended Highland Park High School was employed in cabinetry with Koch & Co. in Seneca, Kansas in cabinetry.
Louis married Marisela Medina on April 1, 2011 in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Marisela Cantrell; children, Juan Medina, Jesus Medina, Yasmine Medina, Fernando Ortega-Medina, Araceli Cantrell and David Cantrell all of Topeka; granddaughter, Isella Medina of Topeka; parents, Louis (Laura) Perez and Regina Cantrell of Topeka; siblings, Christina (Sergio) Cabello of Tecumseh, Michelle Perez of Wichita, Chrystal Gonzalez, Maria Perez, Timothy Lehnerr, Ethan Perez and Gabriel Perez of all of Topeka; paternal grandparents, David (Delores) Perez and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Joseph Perez on March 8, 2003 and a son, Emilio Cantrell on March 31, 2018.
Louis enjoyed fishing and music. He was a good man that always had a smile on his face. He loved his children beyond measure and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Louis's Life will be held 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, July 29, 2022 at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #3.
