Ludie M. Burger
Ludie M. Burger, 69, Eskridge, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Midland Hospice Care. She was born on September 27, 1941 in Gainesville, Florida to James and Agnes (Snyder) McDonald.
She was raised in, and attended school in Gainesville. It is also where she met and married her husband of 51 years, Ernest E. Burger, on December 13, 1959. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Donald Burger; two daughters, Agnes Zeller and Cynthia Coleman; twelve grandkids; and fourteen great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Schweinler.
Ludie was a factory machine operator, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening, computer games, and Super Nintendo.
A memorial service for Ludie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
