Luella June Ellis, 85, Topeka, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004 at Atria Hearthstone. She was born June 17, 1919 in Dover, the daughter of Fred and Ella Arnold Ginter.
Mrs. Ellis lived in Frederick, Maryland for 7 years before coming to Topeka in 1994.
She married Edward Ellis on Aug. 3, 1940 in Washington D.C. He died June 24, 1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth St. Mary, Gaithersburg, MD, a son, Fred Ellis, Rowlett, TX, and a brother, Lewis Ginter, of Topeka.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be in Dover Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd, 66604.
