Lyle Douglas Clark, 87, of Topeka, passed away October 11, 2015. He was born to Henry A. and Grace M. (Thompson) Clark on July 24, 1928 at Geneva, Illinois. Lyle was raised around Villa Park, IL. He joined the Air Force and served during WWII and the Korean conflict. His last duty station was Forbes Air Force Base at Topeka.
During his life, Lyle worked at a number of different jobs. He was employed for a time at CGF Grain and Cardinal Building Services, delivered Capital Journal newspapers for years, and retired working for USD 501 as a custodian. After his wife's passing, he worked at WalMart.
Lyle married Ruby Irene Bowers who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by three older brothers, Mack, Eddie and Robert.
Lyle is survived by four sons: Albert M. Lewis, Bobby E. Lewis, David L. Clark and Henry A. Clark.
